Information on parliamentary scrutiny

The Committee on European Affairs (CEA) paid particular attention to the negotiations regarding the EU legislative acts in relation with the establishment of the banking union.
No formal scrutiny procedure was launched.
The state of play of the negotiations regarding the EU draft was on the agenda of the CEA on 5 November 2012, on 8 April 2013 and 16 December 2013.
During the meetings the respective Minister of State or Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of National Economy presented the key points of the Eu draft as well as the state of play of the negotiations.
Since  DIRECTIVE 2013/36/EU OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 26 June 2013 on access to the activity of credit institutions and the prudential supervision of credit institutions and investment firms, amending Directive 2002/87/EC and repealing Directives 2006/48/EC and 2006/49/EC on 27 June 2013 in the EU Official Journal (L/176/338), the dossier is closed.
