Information on parliamentary scrutiny

The Committee on European Affairs of the Hungarian National Assembly decided to launch scrutiny procedure on the legislative proposal on its meeting of 19 March 2012.
The Committee on Economics and Information Technology has been asked to build opinion on the EU draft at the beginning of the procedure.
The Committee on European Affairs discussed the EU proposal on its meeting of 7 May 2012. In course of its meeting the representative of the Government gave an oral brief on the goals of the draft and highlighted the main elements of its negotiating position.
The Committee on Economics and Information Technology discussed the proposal on 3 December 2012 and forwarded its opinion to the Committee on European Affairs.
The Committee on European Affairs adopted its standpoint on the governmental position pertaining to the EU draft on its meeting of 4 March 2013.
Subsequently to the consent of the EP, the MFF dossier and the related sectoral proposals (CEF, CAP, Cohesion Policy) was reviewed and debated on the meeting of the Committee of European Affairs of 25 November 2013.
Since the new regulation was published in the EU Official Journal of 20 December 2013 (L/374/320), the scrutiny procedure is closed.
