This proposal was considered at the meeting of the Joint Committee on Communications, Natural Resources and Agriculture on 21st March 2012. It was agreed that this proposal warrants further scrutiny. It was agreed that the Minister or Secretary-General of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine is invited before the Committee regarding COMS (2011) 625 to 629 inclusive and in more general terms, to brief the Committee on the Proposals/Ireland's position regarding the CAP in the 2014 to 2020 period. It was also agreed that the key representative organisations are also invited before the Committee regarding their proposals and concerns for the CAP in the 2014 to 2020 period.
This proposal was considered at the meeting of the Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and Marine on 5th February 2013. It was agreed that this proposal does not warrant further scrutiny.
