Information on parliamentary scrutiny

Passed on to the Committe on Finance and Monetary Policy. The document has been discussed at its 4th extraordinary meeting of 18 January 2012.


And at its 3rd meeting of 27 January 2012 the Committee on EU Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia adopted the following Position:


Republic of Slovenia supports Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 2004/109/EC on the harmonisation of transparency requirements in relation to information about issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market and Commission Directive 2007/14/EC. Slovenia will support all proposals that will strengthen the investor protection, simplify issuers' obligations with a view to making regulated markets more attractive to small and medium-sized issuers and improve effeciveness of the existing transparency regime with respect to the disclosure of corporate ownership.
