Information on parliamentary scrutiny

The Committee on Labour, Family, Social Policy and Disability discussed the proposal at its 25th extraordinary meeting of 10 April 2014.

And at it's 103rd meeting of 11 April 2014 the Committee on EU Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia adopted the following Position

The Republic of Slovenia firmly believes that the free movement of workers is one of the foundations of the EU internal market and supports the EURES network, which provides information, advice and recruitment/placement services to mobile workers and employers that need such workers. Slovenia also supports the implementation of these services under uniform standards and common rules, supported and coordinated by the European Commission. All this requires legal clarity, which ensures the stability of implementation of such services and allows Member States to set up and preserve mechanisms to support workers' mobility.
