Information on parliamentary scrutiny
The European Affairs Committee at its meeting on 12 September 2016 took note of the proposal for a regulation and requested the Defence and Security Committee to provide their position toward the proposal. The Defence and Security Committee at its meeting on 14 March 2017 discussed the proposal, agreed with the preliminary position of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic and recommended the European Affairs Committee to agree with the preliminary position. The European Affairs Committee took note of the position of the Defence and Security Committee at its meeting on 15 June 2017.
