The document No. 7809/18 was submitted to the Chamber of Deputies on 4/19/2018.

The Committee for European Affairs decided on 5/9/2018 by its Resolution No. 77 to deliberate on the document and appointed the Member Mr. Jan Zahradník as rapporteur.

The Committee for European Affairs at its 13th meeting on 6/6/2018 by Resolution No. 101

 

1. takes into account the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships in the food supply chain;

2. respects the Government’s Framework Position of the Government of the Czech Republic on this Proposal for a Directive;

3. asks the Government of the Czech Republic to pay proper attention to the evaluation of the impact of existing Czech legislation on the occurrence to unfair trading practices and its effectiveness in investigating the relevant submissions, as well as the impact of the proposed directive on end consumer food prices;

4. submits the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships in the food supply chain, including the opinion of the Government of the Czech Republic and the resolution of the Committee to the Committee on Economic Affairs and the Committee on Agricultural for information.
