On 7 August 2018 the Industry Committee adopted a favourable resolution with qualifications. The document suggests focused amendment proposals to articles 1, subparagraphs 2 and 3, and to article 2, subparagraph 7.
Proposals are also set out for a change of the penalty system, which should also include non-monetary sanctions, and of criteria for identifying sanctions, so as to guarantee their proportionality with damages incurred as well as with the enterprises' financial situation.
