Committee on Social Policy discussed this document on 64th meeting on 12/9/2020 by Resolution No 209:

1. takes note of the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on adequate minimum wages in the European Union;

2.  supports the dialogue of the Czech Republic on the issue of the minimum wage and its 
   adequacy within the European Union;

3.  authorizes the Chairperson of the Committee to inform the Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs about this resolution.


The document No. 12477/20 was submitted to the Chamber of Deputies on 11/3/2020.

The Committee on European Affairs decided on 11/18/2020 by its Resolution No. 385 to deliberate on the document and appointed the Vicechairman Mr. Ondřej Veselý as rapporteur.

The Committee for European Affairs at its 62nd meeting on 1/6/2021 by Resolution No. 404

 

1.     takes note of the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on adequate minimum wages in the European Union;

2.      agrees with the aim of the Proposal that workers have the right to a fair wage allowing for a decent standard of living;

3.  requests the Government of the Czech Republic to inform it about the possible discussion of this Proposal in the Council and of the position it will take in this discussion.
