The documents No. 12971/20, 12972/20 and 12973/20 were submitted to the Chamber of Deputies on 11/16/2020.

The Committee on European Affairs decided on 12/9/2020 by its Resolution No. 398 to deliberate on the documents and appointed the Member Mr. Pavel Plzák as rapporteur.

The Committee for European Affairs at its 64^th meeting on 2/3/20210 by Resolution No. 410

 

1.     takes note of the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the reinforced role of the European Medicines Agency in crisis preparedness and
management for medicinal products and medical devices (Council Code 12971/20, COM (2020)725 final); the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Regulation (EC) No 851/2004 establishing a European Center for
disease prevention and control (Council Code 12972/20, COM(2020)726 final) and the Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on serious cross-border threats to health and repealing Decision No 1082/2013/EU /Council Code 12973/20, COM (2020)727 final/;

2.      supports the Government's Framework Position on these documents;

3.   emphasizes that the principle of subsidiarity and non-interference with the Member States  must be maintained when approving these regulations.
