Information on parliamentary scrutiny

On 19 December 2017 the finance committee and the committee for European Affairs discussed the announcement and decided to deliver input for written consultation once the position from the government has been received.

On 23 January 2018 the Socialist Party (SP) delivered input for written consultation with the government concerning COM(2017)823 and COM(2017)827.The letter was sent to the Minister of Finance on 31 January 2018.

On 13 February 2018 the Dutch Senate organized an expert meeting with regards to the Economic and Monetary Union.

On 24 April 2018, the Finance, European and Economic Affairs committees held an oral meeting with the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs on the European Semester, the future of the Economic and Monetary Union, the banking union, the MFF and the European fiscal agenda.
